Abstract

The total (p, n) reaction cross sections for 41K and 65Cu have been measured as a function of proton energy in the energy ranges 1.46-4.10 and 2.25-4.20 Me V, respectively. Several prominent isobaric analogue resonances have been identified. A detailed shape analysis of these isobaric analogue resonances has been performed to determine the proton width Γp, the spreading width W and the spectroscopic factor Sn for the various resonances.
