Abstract
Interesting products having anticonvulsant properties are synthesized from solution phase dielectric heating of isatin and aromatic amines and diamines without any catalyst and an approach to cryptolepine skeleton is made from one of them. In addition, the crystal structure of the condensation products between isatin and a diamine is reported.
