Abstract

The dynamical aspects of the correlation between fragment mass (and charge) variance and the energy loss for the 136Xe+209Bi system have been studied. A classical dynamical model has been used to obtain the instantaneous values of the relative kinetic energy. The one-body transport model is used to calculate the corresponding nucleon exchange rate.
