Abstract

The study of electrical conductivity of excitable nerve membrane is made in the presence of microwave radiation. The behaviour of various ionic currents (such as sodium and potassium) of nerve in excitable state is predicted theoretically in the presence of microwave field. An electronic model is proposed and used to find the behaviour or nerve membrane. The curves of various ionic currents and membrane conductances are plotted for the squid, to show the various effects of microwave radiation field.
