Abstract
Dymalol, (20S,24R)-epoxy-4-hydroxy-3,4-seco-dammaran-3-oic acid methyl ester, a new dammarane triterpenoid was isolated from the leaves of Dysoxylum malabaricum in addition to two known dammarane triterpenoids. The structure was established by spectral data and comparison with closely related compounds.
