Abstract

The recent warming of the earth and its imminent consequences in the form of accelerated climatic variability threatening humankind is the biggest global concern. The IPCC-AR6 report revealed that the global surface temperature had increased faster since 1970 compared to any other 50-year period in the last 2000 years.
