Abstract

A bis(acetylacetonato)copper(II)catalyzed convenient protocol has been developed for the synthesis of α-acyloxy ethers via cross-dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) using tertiary-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP) as the oxidant. A radical mechanism is suggested for the reaction.
