Abstract

The reactivity descriptors like electronegativity, hardness, and electrophilicity, formulated on conceptual density functional theory can explain chemical reactivity of various acids and bases, oxidants and reductants as well as electrophiles and nucleophiles through associated structure-stability diagrams.
