Abstract
Treatment of the dilithium adducts of azobenzene, 3,3'-dimethylazobenzene, 3,3'-dimethoxyazobenzene, 4-methylazobenzene, 4-methoxyazobenzene, 4,4'-dimethylazobenzene, 4,4'-dimethoxyazobenzene, 4,4'-diisopropylazobenzene, 4,4'-di-tertbutylazobenzene, and 4,4'-diphenylazobenzene with dichlorodimethylsilane, dichloromethylvinylsilane and dichlorodiphenylsilane gave tetraazadisilacyclohexanes.
