Abstract

We carried out a neutron diffraction study of the titled compound at room temperature (RT) and 7 K. We find from our study that the structure of the this compound is triclinic as reported for the parent compound FeVO4. As the temperature was lowered from RT to 7 K there was a contraction of the unit cell, with an increase in intensity of the low angle Bragg peaks with no extra peaks appearing. Rietveld refined structural parameters at both these temperatures are reported.
