Abstract
A new telescopic synthesis of N-[2-(phenylthio)phenyl]acetamides has been established using benzo[d]thiazol-2-amine, aryliodide and carboxylic acid via a copper catalyzed ring opening rearrangement functionalization (RORF). The sequential addition of TBHP leads to the formation of N-[2-(phenylsulfinyl)phenyl]acetamide.
