Abstract

The work unfolds introduction of hierarchical porosity by adjusting water/ethanol solvent ratio in a microporous MOF under microwave condition. For mesopore formation water/ethanol clusters act as template by allowing the nucleation and growth of MOF particles around them. Such micro/mesoporous MOF is further exploited for growth and stabilization of perovskite quantum dots.
