Abstract

One penta- and two tri-nuclear hetero-metallic CuII−MnII complexes have been synthesized using a N2O2 donor ligand. All of them exhibit model catecholase, and phenoxazinone synthase-like activities. For the penta-nuclear complex there occurs a change in ground spin state on increasing the magnetic field at 2 K.
