Abstract
We review results concerning optimal Sobolev inequalities in Riemannian manifolds and recent existence/non existence/uniqueness results for Sobolev extremals in the hyperbolic space ℍn . We also discuss exponential integrability in ℍ, the hyperbolic plane, and related topics.
