Abstract

Antimony(III) derivatives of benzilmonoxime and benzildioxime have been synthesised by the reactions of antimony trichloride and the sodium salts of oximes in different molar ratios to yield trisubstituted as well as mixed chloroderivatives. All newly synthesised complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations and spectral (IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR) studies.
