Abstract

This paper describes the synthesis and spectroscopic studies of some titanium(IV) complexes of N,N′- ethylenebis(salicylideneimine). The complexes have been synthesized by the reaction of TiCl4 with the sodium salt of the ligand (prepared in situ) in different molar ratios and were characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight measurements and spectroscopic (IR, 1H and 13C NMR) studies.
