Abstract

Hexa‐coordinate silicon compounds with the multidentate azomethine ligand N,N′‐o‐phenylenebis(salicylaldimine) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations and spectral (IR, 1H, 13C and 29Si NMR) studies. The data suggest octahedral geometry around the silicon atom in the resulting complexes
