Abstract

If SU (2) singlet fermions exist, we get new channels for the decays of the intermediate Higgs boson, namely H→tc̄, H→τL (L being a singlet lepton). For a large region of the parameter space, these modes dominate over the usual standard model decay modes. The associated signals give a much better chance of discovering an intermediate mass Higgs boson at the Superconducting Supercollider, compared to what is expected in the standard model.
