Abstract

A new 2D pillared-bilayer porous coordination polymer (PCP) has been synthesized and structurally characterized that shows selective adsorption of CO2 over other gases (N2, O2, Ar, H2, CH4) and guest selective single/double-step adsorption of vapor correlated to the successive confinement of adsorbates in a 1D channel and a 2D interlayer space.
