Abstract

RuCl3/NaIO4 under EtOAc/H2O biphasic conditions, selectively oxidizes the Nα-endo-methylene group of pyrrolidine derivatives, without affecting the exo-methylene group adjacent to the N-heteroatom. RuCl3/NaIO4 under EtOAc/H2O biphasic conditions, selectively oxidizes the Nα-endo-methylene group of pyrrolidine derivatives, without affecting the exo-methylene group adjacent to the N-heteroatom.
