Abstract

Adsorption isotherms of thiophene on copper chromite catalyst have been obtained under catalytic conditions using the gas chromatographic technique. The isotherms were found to follow the Freundlich adsorption equation. The isosteric heat of adsorption has been determined from the isotherms and found to be dependent on surface coverage.
