Abstract
DL-allothreonine hydrobromide belongs to space group P21/c with unit-cell dimensions a=8.91, b=7.78, c=18.91Å and β=92.0°. The structure was solved by the heavy-atom method and refined to an R-index of 10.7%. There are two molecules in the asymmetric part of the structure having different conformations.
