Abstract
On the basis of T1 measurements and Kuhn length calculation, it is found that flexibility follows the order poly(styrene disulfide)> poly(styrene peroxide)> polystyrene and that, upon increasing the length of the sulfide linkage from mono to tetra in the backbone, the flexibility increases upon going from poly(styrene sulfide) to poly(styrene disulfide), but from poly(styrene disulfide) to poly(styrene tetra sulfide) it decreases.
