Abstract
The details of the vortex phase diagram near the multicritical point in the YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) for H||c are reexamined in response to the Comment by Miu and in the light of newer revelations in the phase diagrams of Bi2Sr2CaCuO8 (BSCCO) and YBCO by N. Avraham et al. [Nature 411, 451 (2001)] and F. Bouquet et al. [ibid. 411, 448 (2001)], respectively. The connection between the notion of inverse melting and the shape of the order-disorder phase boundary in BSCCO and YBCO has been highlighted.
