Abstract
The quantum Zeno effect is viewed in a geometric way. It is shown that the inhibition probability is related to the Fubini-Study metric and the frequency of measurement is limited by the above metric defined on the projective Hilbert space of the quantum system, which cannot be taken to be infinite.
